- Grapes. (Toxic)
- Raisins. (Toxic and choking hazard)
- Chocolate. (Toxic)
- Nuts/Seeds. (Choking hazard)
- Avocados. (Status unknown but currently not suggested to feed).
What can hedgehogs eat?
- Mealworms.
- Lean mince.
- Apple.
- Banana.
- Egg.
- Chicken.
- Chicken flavored cat foods.
What's on the menu?
Finding a healthy balance is important with hedgehogs as without the correct diet a hedgehog can lead a very unhappy life.
The best food to feed your hedgehog is a mix of at least 2 (preferably 3-4) different types of chicken flavored cat foods (dry of course) the mix will allow the nutrients lacking in some of the mix to be replaced by others in the mix ect. Some I recommend is;

- Whiska's (chicken dry food).
- Purely (chicken dry food) (can be bought at pets at home)
- Iams (chicken dry food).
- James wellbeloved. (not fish).
Snacks....
Gutloaded live meal worms are a great treat. (daily!!!!) sadly although hedgehogs (and bug phobic people) like dried meal worms the nutritional value is zilch really, however they are safe to feed once or twice a day. Though Live meal worms is the best way to go. You can find a breeding guide:
